Australia Backs US-Israel Strikes; PM Albanese Convenes National Security Committee

Australia backed the US-Israel strikes on Iran. PM Albanese, Defence Minister Marles, and FM Wong issued a joint statement supporting US action to prevent Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon. Albanese activated emergency consular measures and will convene the National Security Committee on Sunday.
