CENTCOM Confirms 3 US Service Members Killed, 5 Seriously Wounded in Operation Epic Fury

U.S. Central Command announced Sunday morning that three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury — the first confirmed American casualties since the conflict began. CENTCOM stated that several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions and are being returned to duty. The identities of the fallen are being withheld until next of kin are notified.
