CENTCOM Mocks Iran's Shifting Narrative on USS Abraham Lincoln, Releases Photos of Carrier Operating in Arabian Sea
U.S. Central Command on Friday mocked the Iranian regime for claiming five consecutive days that it had sunk the USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), only for Iran to then assert the carrier had miraculously resurfaced and left the battlefield after encountering Iranian missiles and drones. CENTCOM released photos taken that day showing the carrier actively operating in the Arabian Sea, undercutting Tehran's claims. The post sarcastically questioned Iranian credibility, asking "Need we say more?" alongside the photographic evidence.
