A video circulating on social media Monday showed an explosion in the Marzadaran area of Tehran at approximately 3 PM local time. The footage, shared by Vahid Online, was described as received video from Monday, March 2 (11 Esfand on the Persian calendar). The cause and extent of the blast were not immediately known.
