IDF Destroys Iranian F-4 and F-5 Fighter Jets on Tabriz Airport Runway

The Israeli Air Force struck and destroyed two Iranian F-4 Phantom II and F-5 Tiger II fighter jets at Tabriz airport in northwestern Iran as they were preparing to take off on Day 2 of the conflict. The IDF said the strike was conducted to degrade the Iranian Air Force's activities and expand the degradation of Iran's aerial defense. The same wave of strikes also targeted a ballistic missile unit near Tabriz that had been prepared to launch dozens of missiles toward Israel.
