Iran Leaders Warn Israel: Attacking Hezbollah Violates Ceasefire, Will Bring "Strong Responses"

Iran Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf warned on X in English that violating the ceasefire will carry "specific costs and strong responses." His statement followed Israeli PM Netanyahu's declaration that attacks on Hezbollah would continue "with force." Ghalibaf insisted attacks must stop immediately and stated: "Lebanon and the entire axis of resistance, as Iran's allies, form an integral part of the ceasefire." Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif also "publicly and transparently emphasized the Lebanon issue; there is no room for denial and retreat." Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian also posted on X that any attack on Iran's proxy forces including Hezbollah is a "clear violation of the ceasefire agreement," writing: "The renewed aggression of the Zionist regime against Lebanon is a clear violation of the initial ceasefire agreement. This is a dangerous sign of deception and non-compliance with potential agreements."
