Iranian Drone Strikes Kuwait International Airport — Workers Injured, Terminal Damaged

An Iranian drone struck the passenger terminal at Kuwait International Airport on Saturday, injuring several workers and causing material damage to the building. The attack was part of Iran's broad retaliatory campaign against Gulf states hosting U.S. military assets. Kuwait's Defence Ministry confirmed that the Ali Al-Salem Air Base also came under ballistic missile attack, injuring three Kuwaiti soldiers; all missiles were intercepted. Kuwait subsequently closed its airspace.
