Iraqi Security Forces Fire Tear Gas at Pro-Iran Protesters Outside Baghdad Green Zone

Iraqi security forces fired tear gas and flash bangs at large crowds of pro-Iranian demonstrators gathered outside the "Green Zone" in Baghdad on Sunday night. The Green Zone houses the U.S. Embassy and several other diplomatic missions. The dispersal comes as demonstrations spread across the region in response to ongoing U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran.
