Israel Katz Declares Full Air Superiority Over Iran; IAF Jets Flying Over Tehran With Stand-In Munitions

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on March 1 that Israel has achieved full air superiority over Iran, with IAF fighter jets now flying directly over Tehran and dropping stand-in munitions. The IDF said air dominance was achieved within 24 hours, faster than during the June 2025 Operation Rising Lion. Over 2,000 bombs were dropped by Israeli jets across 24 of Iran's 31 provinces in the first 36 hours of the operation.
