Lebanon PM Nawaf Salam Declares Hezbollah Military Activities Illegal and Banned

Lebanese PM Nawaf Salam announced a formal ban on Hezbollah military and security operations, declaring all such activities illegal. He called on Lebanese security forces to prevent any attacks from Lebanese territory and restrict Hezbollah to the political sphere. The announcement came hours after Israeli airstrikes on southern Beirut in response to Hezbollah attacks following the killing of Khamenei.
