Netanyahu Addresses Iranian People: "We Will Hand You the Torch" to Take Your Destiny

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu published a message addressed to the Iranian people on the official Israeli PM account on X (Twitter), calling on them to seize a "once-in-a-lifetime" opportunity to remove the Ayatollah regime. Netanyahu wrote: "People of Iran, we are fighting a historic war for freedom. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to remove the Ayatollah regime and gain your freedom." He added: "Together with the United States, we are targeting Tehran's tyrants harder than ever before." He pledged: "We will continue striking the tyrants who kept you in fear for decades with growing force." On the coming days, he stated: "In the coming days, we will create conditions for you to take your destiny into your own hands. When the time comes — and it is rapidly approaching — we will hand you the torch." Netanyahu claimed Israel has "struck countless targets of the regime" and "eliminated thousands of IRGC thugs and hundreds of their missile launchers." On civilian protection, he said: "We are focused on regime targets and are doing everything possible to avoid harming the Iranian people." On the fate of the supreme leader, he stated: "The Ayatollah is no longer around, and I know you don't want him replaced by another tyrant." He declared Israel as Iran's ally: "We are your allies, your best allies. We fully respect your territorial integrity, culture, and heritage." Calling on Iranians to act, he said: "You asked for help and help arrived. We will strike the tyrants who terrorized you for decades with growing force." He concluded: "The Ayatollahs and their cronies are fleeing, but those cowards have nowhere to hide.
