Saudi Defense Ministry: 8 Iranian Drones Downed Near Riyadh and Al-Kharj Following U.S. Embassy Strikes

The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced that a total of eight Iranian attack drones were intercepted and downed near the cities of Riyadh and Al-Kharj. The intercepts came after at least two Iranian drones breached defenses and struck the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh earlier in the evening. Saudi air defenses engaged the drone swarm as Iran continued targeting Gulf-based American diplomatic and military installations.
