Zelensky Meets Reza Pahlavi in Paris for Second Time, Discusses Iran Situation and US Operations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who traveled to Paris to meet his French counterpart, held a second meeting with Reza Pahlavi in the city on Friday, March 13 (22 Esfand). Zelensky posted on X about the meeting: "We discussed in detail the situation in Iran and the region, and the US operations against what was called the terrorist regime." Zelensky added that another key topic was international pressure and joint efforts to help protect people's lives and their participation in determining their own fate. The two had previously met on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in February. Zelensky stated on X that Kyiv "truly wants to see a free Iran that does not cooperate with Russia and does not cause instability in the Middle East, Europe, and the world."
