'Black Tomahawk' Cruise Missile Seen in Combat for First Time During Strikes on Iran

Video and imagery from Operation Epic Fury revealed an unknown variant of the Tomahawk cruise missile with a glossy black coating — never seen before — being fired from US Navy destroyers. Defense analysts at The War Zone believe this is likely the Maritime Strike Tomahawk (MST), a new anti-ship variant featuring radar-absorbent material in a dark finish similar to the AGM-158C LRASM.
