Eyewitness: Three-Phase Explosion Hit IRGC Military Base Near Yadegar Imam Metro Station in Tehran

An eyewitness account describes a large IRGC installation near the Yadegar Imam metro station in Tehran's Marzdarān district being struck in a three-phase explosion. The facility, officially labeled a "Crisis Management Base," was a fully operational military compound with metal barriers obscuring it from the overpass above; a sports hall and park are directly adjacent to the base. Following the blasts, IRGC personnel armed with Kalashnikovs sealed off both sides of Marzdarān Street. Officials claimed the metro tunnel had been hit to deter evacuees, but a station worker contradicted this, saying trains were running — only bypassing the Yadegar Imam stop.
