Iran's Larijani Threatens Regional Blackout if US Targets Iranian Power Grid

The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council threatened that if the US attacks Iran's electrical facilities, "the entire region will go dark within half an hour." Ali Larijani made the threat on Thursday on X (Twitter) in response to remarks by US President Donald Trump about targeting Iran's electricity infrastructure. Trump said on Wednesday that if Iran escalates tensions in the Middle East, "we can knock out their electrical capacity within an hour, and it would take them 25 years to rebuild." Meanwhile, Iran has intensified attacks on oil tankers and oil storage facilities since yesterday, aimed at driving up global oil prices.
