Israel Claims Killing of IRGC Missile Unit Commander in Lebanon; Iran Deputy Intelligence Chief Also Reported Killed in Tehran Strikes

The Israeli army announced that "Abouzar Mohammadi," the operational commander of the IRGC missile unit, was killed in a military attack on Lebanon. On Thursday, March 12, the Israeli army claimed that Mohammadi was killed in the Tuesday, March 10 military attack on Lebanon. ILNA news agency reported that Akbar Ghaffari, the Deputy Minister of Intelligence, was killed in the joint Israel-US attacks on Tehran. According to the report, he previously served as the political-security deputy of East Azerbaijan Province. His funeral ceremony was held on March 5 in Tabriz.
