Iraq Warns Its Territory Will Not Be Used as Launchpad; Government Calls on All Parties to Keep Iraq Out of War

The Iraqi government issued a formal warning against any action threatening Iraq's sovereignty, stating that 'our territory will not be used as a passage or launch pad for attacks on Iran, nor will we allow Iraq to be dragged into the conflict.' Iraqi FM Fuad Hussein spoke with Iranian FM Araghchi, who clarified that Iran's strikes targeted only US military sites. A senior Iraqi source confirmed the US had informed Baghdad it wants to keep Iraq out of the ongoing war.
