Syria Says Drones Launched from Iraq Targeted US Base in Hasakah, Shot Down Without Casualties

Sipan Hamo, Syria's Deputy Defense Minister, announced that the Qasrak military base in Hasakah province, where US forces are stationed, was targeted by drone attacks launched from Iraqi territory. He said the drones were shot down without casualties. The Syrian Deputy Defense Minister held Iraq responsible and asked Baghdad to prevent the recurrence of attacks that, he said, threaten Syria's stability.
