Trump Tells Israeli Channel 13 Outcome of 48-Hour Ultimatum Will Be "Very Good"; NATO Backs Warning; Iran Says Hormuz Open for "Friends"

Donald Trump, in an interview with Israel's Channel 13, said the outcome of his 48-hour ultimatum to the Islamic Republic to reopen the Strait of Hormuz would be "very good," adding that Iran would receive punishment it has deserved for 47 years. Following Trump's warning, NATO's Secretary General expressed positions in support of the ultimatum. The Jerusalem Post also reported that Islamic Republic attacks on Saudi Arabia and Qatar have decreased. Tehran, in several separate statements, said the Strait of Hormuz has not been closed and that the strait is "open for friends."
