Witkoff Says US Hopes to Meet Iran Within Days, Presents 15-Point Deal

Steve Witkoff, Donald Trump's special envoy, announced Friday that Washington hopes to hold meetings with Iran within the coming days. Speaking at an investment summit in Miami, Florida, he said: "We believe meetings will take place this week and we are optimistic about it." Witkoff emphasized that a "15-point agreement" has been placed on the table and recently shared with Iran, with the US now awaiting Tehran's response. He added that this deal could lead to a full resolution of issues between the two sides. Witkoff also warned: "We cannot witness the re-emergence of a North Korea in the Middle East."
